What is contrast therapy?

Contrast therapy involves alternating between heat and cold. At Revival, this means moving between our traditional Finnish sauna at around 90°C and cold plunge baths at 6°C. We recommend starting with the sauna, followed by short periods in the cold plunge, repeating at your own pace throughout your 30-minute session.

What does a session involve?

Each session lasts 30 minutes and includes access to our traditional Finnish sauna (around 90°C) and cold plunge baths (set to 6°C). You can move between the heat and cold at your own pace, with no pressure to use both. With a maximum of just four guests per session, you'll always have space to relax in a calm, uncrowded environment.

Not at all. Whether you're completely new to contrast therapy or have years of experience, you're welcome at Revival. Our team will guide you through everything before your first session, and you can enjoy the sauna and cold plunge at your own pace.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. You're welcome to come on your own. Whether you're looking for some time to yourself or planning a visit with friends, family or colleagues, once bookings open you will be able to book a single space or multiple spaces, subject to availability. You will also be able to book all four spaces for a fully private session at a discounted rate.

Can I book without a membership?

Absolutely. You don't need to be a member to visit Revival. Once the studio opens, pay-as-you-go sessions will be available alongside our monthly memberships.

Do I need to book in advance?

Once the studio opens, we recommend booking in advance. We will share the booking link when sessions are available. Walk-in spaces will be subject to availability. All sessions will be scheduled to maintain a calm, uncrowded experience.

Question 7

What should I bring and what happens when I arrive?

Please arrive around 5 minutes before your session. You'll remove your shoes at the door before signing in and heading to the changing rooms. Lockers, showers and towels are provided. Just bring your swimwear and change before your session begins. Complimentary water is available, and you're welcome to bring flip-flops if you prefer. Then simply head in, switch off and enjoy your 30-minute sauna and ice bath session. There is one hour of free on-street parking outside, Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, with no return within four hours, subject to displayed restrictions. Hunter Avenue car park is also two minutes away and offers 30 minutes free parking, once per vehicle per day. Obtain a free ticket from the machine and check the displayed restrictions.
